Cutting Through the Noise - Journalism, Politics, & the Supreme Court
How do we make sense of the headlines, the speculation, and the swirling political narratives surrounding the Supreme Court?
Join Stephen Wermiel, A72, A10P, a former journalist and expert on the Court, and David Meyers, A96, for a spirited and insightful conversation on how journalistic tools can help us decode what’s really happening behind the bench. Both Stephen and David are past presidents of the Tufts Alumni Association, bringing a unique blend of experience, perspective, and Tufts pride to the discussion.
Special thanks to our generous alumni: Vadim Reyblat, E15, for hosting us, and Dan Kramer, A03, founder of Duke’s Grocery, for welcoming us to continue the conversation over drinks and bites at his restaurant.
This event is cosponsored by the Tufts Lawyers Association and the Institute for Storycraft and Information Gathering, a nonprofit founded by Tufts alumni.
Additional information:
Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the conversation will begin promptly at 6:15 PM ending at approximately 7:00 PM. We will then walk to Duke’s (.1 miles/3-minute walk) where you will get 1 drink ticket for a beer or glass of wine and Tufts-provided appetizers for all to share.
